The day begins with a brief stroll through Vila Real in a vintage car, exploring the city's ancient streets.
In the morning, we will visit a conventual sweets factory with a family tradition of over 80 years. Here, you will participate in a cooking class, getting hands-on experience! The highlight will be tasting what you've prepared and cooked, accompanied, of course, by a glass of Port wine.
Before lunch, we'll make a brief visit to the campus of UTAD (University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro), where we can explore agronomy fields, see some animals, vineyards, and various projects in this location.
With the morning's activities completed, it's time for lunch at Cais da Villa, a special place that blends the territory of memory and modernity by Chef Daniel Gomes.
In the afternoon, the exploration continues through the historic streets, and we'll ascend to the viewpoint, where the city's limits once were, to share a bit of the city's history. After glimpsing Mateus, we embark on a journey to Casa de Mateus for a guided tour of the interior and gardens!"
